Beginning from the 20th. Century, Architectural designs and plans are became more complex because of the increasing of functional needs. This appeared an orientation problem for users of the big complex buildings like hospitals, airport, shopping mall, etc. For solving this problem, there are some graphs designed for interiors. One of that graph type is pictograms. Pictograms are minimal symbols, which are created for explanation of situation, object, notion, etc. Pictograms have been used from ancient times. The pictograms that appear as hieroglyphs in ancient Egypt; In today's architecture; It is seen that it is located on different structural elements such as columns, beams, walls, floors. In recent years, with the widespread use of technology, fixed graphic pictogram representations; started to take electronic pictograms. Among the innovations brought by the electronic pictograms, it can be shown to be easier to shape according to need, ease of maintenance and continuous conversions and eliminating the complexity of writing and figure. The aim of this study is to classify the electronic pictograms and their innovations according to the structural elements. In the study, electric - electronic pictogram samples will be discussed according to structural elements and their innovations will be discussed. Recent electronic pictogram samples used in buildings will be classified according to the structural elements used; As a result of the classification made, the innovations brought by the electronic pictograms according to the structural elements will be discussed.
