Urban public spaces which have a place in urban design projects with different scales and degrees, are important
living/living parts of the city used by everyone. These places are primarily used for mobility and access but also for official
social events. In order to ensure the continuity of public spaces, pedestrianized areas are used as areas of vehicle traffic and are
designed as areas of experience and learning that contribute to the quality of life of the city dwellers. These areas as active
areas of activity while providing vitality to the place, the city offers various opportunities. The cultural and natural values that
the city possesses shape the identity of the city. For this purpose; in this study, it is considered that it is necessary to record the
values carried by Odunpazarı Streets which can be traced by the local identity and to be recorded in order to ensure cultural
continuity. In this study, the urban design project, which was designed by Yazgan Design in Eskişehir Odunpazarı, aims to
provide a modern touch to the existing texture of the historical Hamamyolu Street and to revive the city center. natural,
artificial, social environment and historical process. Thus, the identity structure, values and changes of the region have been
determined in order to enable the transfer of the original historical texture of the Hamamyolu Street to the next generations.
