Heparinin indüklediği trombositopeni (HİT), heparin kullanımı sonrası immünolojik mekanizmalar yoluyla gelişen, arteriyel ve venöz tromboembolizm ile karakterize katastrofik  nadir görülen bir komplikasyondur. heparin kullanımını takiben genellikle 5-14. günlerde gelişir. HİT geliştiğinde heparin tedavisi kesilmeli ve direkt trombin inhibitörleri başlanmalıdır.Bu yazıda HİT’ye bağlı tromboembolik komplikasyonlar gelişen bir olgu sunarak nadir görülen bu komplikasyona farkındalık oluşturmayı amaçladık.
