Copyright & Licensing
Author rights, publishing permission and article-level reuse licences for SETSCI proceedings.

Copyright ownership
Unless an article states otherwise, authors or their institutions retain copyright. Publication grants SETSCI the non-exclusive permission needed to publish, display, distribute and preserve the work and its metadata. Authors and conference organizers are responsible for securing permission for third-party material included in a paper.
The article licence
The proceedings volume may set a default reuse licence, and an individual article may carry its own licence. The article page is the authoritative place to check the licence for that work. A Creative Commons licence, such as CC BY 4.0, permits specified reuse subject to its terms; it should not be assumed for an article that displays a different licence.
Attribution and third-party content
When reusing an article, credit the authors and source, cite the article or DOI where available, link to the licence and indicate changes if the licence requires it. Figures, photographs, datasets or other items with separate credits may not be covered by the article's licence. Verify the relevant notice before reusing them.
Published record
SETSCI records the publication licence and available copyright information with each article. A later correction or retraction does not erase the original record; notices explain changes to the scholarly record. For questions about rights or permissions, email info@set-science.com.
