Free access
Published SETSCI articles are available online without a subscription or a reader payment. Readers may view article pages and download the available full-text PDFs immediately after publication. The public article record remains available as part of the scholarly archive.
Reuse and licences
Open access does not remove copyright. Each article page identifies the applicable licence and, where available, the copyright holder. That licence determines whether and how the text, figures and other material may be copied, shared or adapted. Many SETSCI articles use a Creative Commons licence; when an article uses CC BY 4.0, reuse requires appropriate attribution, a link to the licence and an indication of changes.
Check the licence on the individual article before reuse. Material credited to a third party may require separate permission. See Copyright & Licensing for the publishing arrangement.
Publication funding
Under the SETSCI proceedings model, publication of an agreed volume is arranged with and sponsored by its conference organizers. Individual authors are not charged an additional SETSCI publication fee for an article in that agreed volume. Organizers should confirm the terms of a proposed volume with info@set-science.com.
