Bu çalışmada, yedeksiz tamir edilebilir tek üniteden oluşan bir sistem incelenmiştir. Ünite çalışmaya başlar fakat bir süre sonra bozulur ve tamire gider. tamirden sonra tekrar sisteme geri döner ve çalışmaya başlar. Bu sistem için iki durum mevcuttur. Birinci durum çalışma durumu ve ikincisi ise tamir-bakımdır. Durum uzayı
