Eğitim Mekanlarında Kullanılan Duvar Bandı Renklerinin Öğrencilerin Algısal Değerlendirmeleri Üzerindeki Etkileri

Abstract
Bu araştırmada, eğitim mekânlarında kullanılan farklı renklerdeki (kırmızı ve mavi) duvar bandlarının öğrencilerin algısal değerlendirmeleri üzerindeki etkilerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu maksatla, Ankara’da bulunan Ankara Üniversitesi Geliştirme Vakfı Özel Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi eğitim sınıfları araştırma ortamı olarak seçilmiştir. İki farklı renkte duvar bandı kullanılan sınıflara yönelik öğrencilerin algısal değerlendirmelerini belirlemek için 10 sıfat çiftinden oluşan “anlamsal farklılaşma ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Ölçek yardımıyla elde edilen sonuçlara göre, kırmızı renkli duvar bandının kullanıldığı sınıfın, mavi renkli duvar bandının kullanıldığı sınıfa oranla daha olumlu yönde algılanarak değerlendirildiği tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca, erkek öğrencilerin kız öğrencilere oranla sınıfların çevresel faktörlerini algılamalarında daha olumlu yönde bir yaklaşıma sahip oldukları görülmektedir. Bu sonuçlar, eğitim mekanlarının tasarımında sınıf bandı renginin öğrencilerin algısal değerlendirmeleri üzerinde etkili olduğunu göstermektedir.
