Abstract
This study was carried out on the purpose of identifying the problems that visually handicapped students, who study at Ondokuz Mayıs University,encounter in the library during their education.For this aim,interview method from qualitative research methods was used.32 blind students and students with poor vision studying at Ondokuz Mayis University and using the department of handicapped were selected. . As a result of the study, a meaningful result (p<0.05) was obtained in favor of the students with poor vision studying in Ondokuz Mayis University. Furthermore,in the light of these findings,the needs of handicapped students should be evaluated in a wide scope.In addition ,holding seminars and meetings as to introduce the services of visually handicapped students that is carried out in the central library of Ondokuz Mayis University will provide accessibility to all the volunteer students studying at the university.
