Selection of floor insulation and flooring material is important in terms of providing electricity and safety of persons in electrical networks and electrical utility vehicle. The goal of a safe ground is to ensure the safety of people and the electrical system. For this reason, in order not to be exposed to any electrical hazards, ground insulation test with electrical system design should be done. Resistance value is taken as reference in determination of ground insulation suitability and resistance values to be referenced are specified in electric domestic facility regulation. In the work done, insulation resistance values of the ground floor of a marble and ceramic based structure which is widely used in the laying of the building floors were measured and the safety evaluation was made in terms of electrical security.
