Abstract
As a result of globalization, time and space constraints have all but disappeared around the world, with the contraction
of the world and the convergence of people, the interaction between societies and cultures has increased. In this context, the
concept of global citizenship has been developed as a new terminology. Global citizenship, which is a citizen of a world that is
living and responsible not only of the country it is in, but also of a wide range of environmental awareness, language learning,
intercultural responsibility, technology literacy, world history and literature, it is thought to be an important step in the solution
of global problems that can not come from above. The purpose of this research; social science teachers' global citizenship in
terms of various variables. In this descriptive survey model, "Global Citizenship Scale" developed by Morais and Ogden (2011)
and adapted to Turkish by Şahin and Çermik (2014) was used. The study group of the study is still continuing its education in
the Social Studies Teacher Program of a state university. 1.2.3. and 4th grade Social Studies Teacher Candidates. Findings from
the research process will be analyzed in the SPSS Analysis program. As the study process has not yet been completed, it will be
included in the full text of the study of detailed information on the results of the study.
