Abstract
Senior managers who want to adapt to the rapid change process that has emerged with digitalization have had to fundamentally change their way of doing business and their understanding of management or adapt it to the new process. This digital transformation process brings together new concepts, paradigms and practices. One of these applications is the reverse mentoring approach, which is increasingly widespread in today's world. Conversely, mentoring is an innovative approach that has reversed the conventional mentality programs, away from the traditional. This approach provides guidance to senior executives who want to catch up with new technology but are struggling to follow and use technology, social media and current trends. On the contrary, mentoring practices are based on the principle that the younger and lower-level employees are transferred to their older, older knowledge, skills and experiences. The reverse mentality, which is seen as an important system for the sustainability of the institution, increases the quality of communication and cooperation in business, while linking knowledge and people to each other by lifting the hierarchy. This system also allows managers to take a clear stand against new ideas and gain a global perspective. This research will examine the emergence, features and benefits of reverse mentoring. Differences between mentoring and reverse mentoring will be evaluated comparatively. Finally, they will be given a reverse mentoring from business world.
