In this study, some basic definitions and concepts related to smart girds will be given brief and concise information. Then, "Why is Smart Grid Needed?", "Equilibrium and Security in Smart Grids", "Current Situations of Smart Grids" Future Trend of Smart Grid "will be covered in detail. Today's technological and scientific studies and trends will be presented in cartilage with future studies and expectations. The aim of this work is to provide a guiding guide for scientists who are considering to work on "Smart Grids".
