Abstract
The collective system, which includes the automation system, data exchanges and production technologies is referred to as Industry 4.0. This system has two main components. The first is the new generation of software and hardware, and the second is the cyber physical systems. Today, with the development of communication technology, physical energy and rapid changes in the commercial world have led to the digitalization of the energy sector. The energy sector, which embraces all these changes, is introduced by the concept of Energy 4.0. In the near future, all sectors will have to adapt to the structure of Industry 4.0 to grow and evolve. The energy sector, which is always the key to the industrial revolution, and therefore energy efficiency, is an important component of Industry 4.0. The energy industry has become a large and complex system with the industrial revolution. It has become inevitable to use energy efficiently and efficiently, which is an important expense item in production costs. Energy efficiency, which means that energy resources are used at the highest possible efficiency from production to consumption at all stages, is the standard of living in the buildings and the reduction of energy consumption without causing decrease in quality and quantity of production in industrial facilities. In addition, energy efficiency is an important concept that must be studied within Industry 4.0 in order to conserve natural resources and the environment along with efficient use of energy, reduce external energy dependence, sustainable development and increase energy security. In this study, the effects of Industry 4.0 on energy efficiency were examined.
