Competition projects can be defined as a process in which ideas are produced and developed to bring out high-quality places with a high potential for quality, and a multi-disciplinary environment is created for designing unique designs in which the physical, cultural and social problems are considered together and solutions are produced taking into account the comfort and needs of the user. The environment created by the increasing urban design project competition in recent years has contributed to the development of architecture and urban design in national and international level; is becoming a new stakeholder level as a joint venture of professional disciplines such as architecture, urban planning and landscape architecture. Especially in metropolitan cities, the search for solutions for the environmental problems that emerged together with unplanned urbanization has forced many profession disciplines dealing with human and environmental relations to push the doors of the quests and solution proposals in project competitions. Environment-conscious sustainable space productions, ecological materials and equipment designs, symbolic and original formations on the road to becoming a competing city / brand city, and design conceptions in the urban-spatial scale designs of the profession disciplines that perform project-scale work such as architecture, city planning and landscape architecture. Within the scope of this study, the concepts and contents of the awardwinning (degree and mention) projects presented in recent urban design project competitions in Turkey have been examined. The data obtained during the review process are categorized under certain headings to categorize the approaches and content of the projects and it has been revealed that the designers in the competition have developed solutions by taking into consideration the criteria in the space production / urban design and what concepts they offer for the cities of the future.
