Biotechnological Product in Wood (Stonewater) and Impregnation

Abstract – In this study, East Spruce (Picea Orientalis (l.) Link) wood was impregnated with stone water (Firetex) in accordance with ASTM 1413 76 and % retention change was observed. In this process, keeping the vacuum time constant (25 min) at various diffusion times (20,30,40 minutes) values were determined. All control / test samples were subjected to vacuum impregnation with Firetex (100%) after the air conditioning process. After drying 103 ± 2 cellulose varnish was applied in the oven. According to the results of the experiment, the highest value (32.81%) in the duration of 25 minutes vacuum and 40 minutes diffusion was found to be the lowest in 25 minutes vacuum and 20 minutes diffusion (6.66%). Differences between these values may be due to anatomical structure, impregnation time and chemical structure of spruce wood. When evaluated in terms of retention properties, it can be used in single / double processes under indoor / outdoor conditions. Abstract – In this study, East Spruce (Picea Orientalis (l.)
