Abstract

In the study carried out in Erzurum Olur micro-catchment, the sediment measurement station installed by the Coruh River Rehabilitation Project was used to  calculate the amount of suspended solids from the basin. There is an automatic water sampler device and flow meter in the sediment station. During the year 2017, the amount of suspended solids was determined by filtration in the laboratory. The suspended solids obtained from the water samples were multiplied by the daily flow rate calculated by the flow meter and the amount of suspended sediment reaching the basin outlet was obtained for each day. In 2017 the annual precipitation 393 mm and suspended solids were 36312 ton/yr. Thus, the amount of suspended solids yielding to the Ayvalık dam of the micro-basin was determined.
