Ekonomik Analizde Anahtar Faktörlerin İncelenmesi: Erzurum İli Örneği
Abstract

Examining Key Factors in Economic Analysis: The Case of Erzurum Province
The aim of this study is to focus on the relationships between GDP (Gross Domestic Product), import and export figures, SMEs, and housing sales. GDP is a fundamental indicator measuring a country's economic structure. A country's imports are an indicator related to the purchase of goods and services from foreign countries. On the other hand, exports are related to the sale of a country's goods and services. Therefore, import and export ratios can directly affect a country's international trade balance and economic growth. SMEs, on the other hand, form the backbone of an economy. These businesses generally play a significant role in local economies and provide a large portion of employment. The healthy growth and development of SMEs generally contributes to the overall health and growth of the economy. Housing sales are an important indicator reflecting the vitality of the economy. Financial confidence and financial status can often be considered together in the housing market. Rising housing sales generally indicate a strong economy and consumer willingness to spend, while falling sales can be a sign of economic recession. This study, using descriptive statistics to examine the relationships between these variables, can help us understand the economy of Erzurum province. For example, high import rates can increase a country's trade deficit, negatively impacting GDP. On the other hand, the growth of SME businesses can increase employment in local economies and stimulate economic growth. Consequently, this study makes a significant contribution to understanding the economy in various ways and predicting appropriate economic trends. The findings can be used to ensure the sustainability of economic policies and the achievement of economic stability in Erzurum province.
