The purpose of this study is to assess the secondary school students’ expectations regarding the daily use of technology on part of their parents and teachers. The sample used in the study organized around the case study model was composed of 30 students from three distinct schools in the provincial center of Trabzon. The students included in the study group on a voluntary basis were chosen randomly out of the students who took part in the “I am creating my own comic strip” workshop. Before the activity, the students were asked to provide a statement in the form “I wish ... had been proficient in ... technology, for ...” with reference to their parents and teachers. And then, they were asked to elaborate on the statement, using the comic strip they would be creating on Pixton, an interactive web-based tool. The study made use of the stories created by the students, as the data gathering tool. The major finding of the study was that the technology the majority of the students wished their parents and teachers were able use was web-based applications. The greatest expectation, is the one from the teachers. They expected their teachers to use various web applications, and thus to help the students in doing their homeworks without using pen or paper, learning the topic better, and having virtual tours of a greater number of places.
