The performance and competitiveness of manufacturing companies depend on the production system and depend on the sustainability, productivity, reliability and protection of the expected functions of machinery and equipment in these systems. Their sustainable safe production performance provides maintenance activities, proper maintenance management and maintenance strategies. Maintenance methods are usually divided into planned and unplanned. One of the planned maintenance sections is periodic maintenance. Every enterprise want their periodic maintenance to be carried out at the most appropriate time and cost. In order to meet these requirements, it must be determined how often equipment can fail over its service life and how often it should be periodically serviced based on the number of failures. In this paper, the importance of data analysis method, which is a branch of periodic maintenance, and how to get the most appropriate periodic maintenance times step by step through this method was explained.
