The dams built for the purposes of electricity generation, domestic and irrigation water supply, flood control, etc., make a great contribution to the region and country's economy. For all these purposes, dam construction is very difficult and costly. In addition to the water effect, earthquake accelerations have great importance for dams located in risky earthquake regions, especially. Therefore, it is very important that the dams are designed and constructed to be resistant for earthquake. In this study, the located in Isparta province which is 1st degree earthquake zone in the Mediterranean Region, was investigated under the Erzincan Earthquake accelerations by using the ANSYS program. To reflect true dynamic behavior of the DarıderesiII Dam Reservoir, the finite element method was used. In modeling stage, material specifications and boundary conditions were taken into account. Also, deformations and stress values were determined for the full and empty states of reservoir, underearthquake accelerations. It was examined how the Darıderesi-II Dam Reservoir would behave under an earthquake of this magnitude.
