Geotourism Potential of Bitlis Province

Today, geotourism is used as an important type of tourism in many parts of the world. Although geotourism potential of Turkey is not completely used, there are significant researches both in academic studies and in practice. In this research, sources of geotourism in Bitlis province, which may be an important geotourism destination in the future, are explained. From this point, by explaining the geotourism resources in the region, this study claims that geotourism can be integrated with other types of tourism for Bitlis province.
