Aims & Scope
Open access conference research across disciplines, published in lasting proceedings volumes.
Our aim and scope
SETSCI Conference Proceedings publishes findings presented at conferences, workshops and similar academic events. The scope covers conferences in all disciplines, including science, engineering and technology. Accepted papers are brought together in open access proceedings volumes so that readers worldwide can read, download and cite them.
Conference organizers and proceedings editors manage peer review and select papers for each volume. SETSCI organizes the presentation and publication of the proceedings, maintains the archive, and distributes article metadata to support discovery. Volumes are grouped by conference and subject so that related work can be explored together.
Open access, rights and identifiers
Proceedings are freely available to read and download. Authors retain the rights described in the licence shown on each article. The earlier SETSCI site described publication under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence; readers should check each article page for its applicable licence.
Article pages provide citation details and a DOI when one has been assigned and registered. DOI metadata can be deposited with Crossref. Structured metadata, the OAI-PMH feed and the public API help discovery services find published work. Inclusion in individual bibliographic databases depends on those services' decisions and coverage.
Publishing integrity
SETSCI is committed to academic honesty and responsible publication. Authors, editors and reviewers are encouraged to follow the guidance of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The conference's scientific committee is responsible for fair review and acceptance decisions; SETSCI preserves the published record and makes corrections or retractions visible.
