Publication Ethics
Standards of research integrity, editorial conduct and misconduct handling for SETSCI proceedings.
Last updated 28 September 2026
Our principles
SETSCI Conference Proceedings is committed to honest reporting, fair editorial decisions and a trustworthy published record. Conference scientific committees manage submissions and peer review; SETSCI publishes the accepted proceedings and maintains their public record. Authors, reviewers, editors and organizers are expected to follow these standards and the guidance of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Responsibilities
- Authors submit original work, report methods and results accurately, cite sources, identify all contributors and disclose funding and competing interests. Plagiarism, fabricated or falsified data, duplicate publication and manipulated images or citations are unacceptable.
- Editors and organizers make decisions on scholarly merit, apply the stated review process, protect confidential submissions and manage conflicts of interest. A conference must provide the accepted files, metadata and a peer-review statement for its volume.
- Reviewers give objective, constructive assessments, declare conflicts and keep manuscripts and review information confidential.
Concerns and allegations
Concerns about a submitted or published work should be sent with the article title or DOI and supporting details to info@set-science.com. SETSCI and the relevant conference editors assess the concern, request a response where appropriate and may consult institutions or other qualified parties. Information is shared only as needed for a fair review of the allegation.
An outcome may be no change, a correction, an expression of concern, a withdrawal or a retraction. A published record is not silently changed; public notices and version history explain material changes. See the Corrections & Retractions policy.
